A Legal Perspective on Facebook and Twitter's Trump Ban



Stephen M. Harnik and Armin Kaiser have just published a Commentary in [Statement], an Austrian media magazine, concerning § 230 of the Communications Decency Act which protects a provider such as Facebook and Twitter the right to moderate user content. This became a hot topic at the end of President Trump's Presidency when he was banned by both those social media platforms and protested that his freedom of speech had been unconstitutionally denied.
